I feel like creativity and the creative process is extremely important when starting a new endeavor. Especially in AICE, where standing out is so important, creativity can really help you stand out in a sea of students. The Ted Talk we watched in class really made me think about my creativity level and I how I view myself as less creative as I could be. In the beginning the speaker said something along the lines of, “we are all born creative however schooling teaches us to find one answer.” This statement really resonated with me even though I had never really put much thought into it before. Creativity is what makes us who we are, and without creativity, we can never produce anything of worth. When I first learned that I was able to work in a group for paper 1, I knew  immediately  that I would choose that  option . The question was, "who will I work with?" There was an obvious and  immediate  thought to work with my friend  Collin  whom I sit next to in class. While doing the peer review assignment  I  learned through Collin's  Instagram  that he has  the  exact same interests as me and  I   immediately  thought how that would help us in being able to work together towards a common goal. Our next group member,  Tate  has  an exceptionally clean  social media profile. She is accompanied by her friends in  all  her posts, which tells me that she will be able to work well with others and that she is a friendly and sociable person. Premier pro and InDesign both seem like very good programs,  however , premier pro seems much to o  confusing for me. I  personally like  InDesign  much better because it has features of word and reminds me a lot of  Microsoft  publisher which I am very familiar with. It  is not that I  wasn’t   interested in doing the movie project, however  the program seems too hard for me to use, and I feel like I would really struggle trying to make a movie on premier pro.  Furthermore, I feel as if the tutorials provided really didn’t do a good job of covering the whole program.  There would be no point in using a program that takes the amount of time to become proficient in using it as the time spent doing the actual. Another thing I really connected was with the  amount of time it took me to  create something.
