For question 1, I used Canva to answer how our magazine challenges conventions. I use Canva because it lended better to incorporating visual factors to compare our magazine to others.  My Canva can be found  here. Here is a preview for creative response to question 2. For this question I used Prezi to incorporate images of my magazine to explain how my product engages with audiences visually.  The rest can be found  here. During class I began importing my photos and composing my interview. I really wanted to ensure that I captured the essence of Ella's tone and passion. Later that day, me and my group met up to place finishing touches, peer review, edit, and make sure that our magazines were similar in style. The first hour we spent time making sure our magazines were all in corresponding. After that we took a short Chick-Fil-A lunch break and began our editing and placing finishing touches. Personally, after this project I will most likely not be using InDesign again, simply because of its odd layout compared to common word applications, and its almost constant technical difficulties. More than one time text and images just didn't do what I wanted them to for no apparent reason. Furthermore, if this project has taught me anything, its to choose my associates wisely, and plan for the unexpected. 

After presenting my magazine to the class I received various pieces of feedback both positive and negative. The majority of the feedback was cosmetic, so it will vastly help me improve the look of my magazine as a whole. The first piece I received was to change my font color of the magazine. The class informed me to change my font color from pink to blue. My original thinking for making the font pink was because of the appeal to my audience which is young women. However, my class informed me that using a common female stereotype such as pink in my magazine took away from the true nature of my magazine which is female athletics. I feel that this piece of advice was crucial in refining my magazine and really improved my magazine as a whole. Next, I was told my content page was too bland. I was advised to either add a picture related to golf as my background, or just add a picture anywhere. This would also help me stay parallel to the house style which my group followed. After waiting a few days, Ella got in touch with me and agreed to do the interview and photoshoot. We agreed upon the 20th, making this a very time crunched operation. I'm just thankful that I finally found someone to do the interview. I met her at Village Green, thankfully she lives close by, and took some photos on the course. We walked over to the second hole and took some picture of her putting, driving and posing. The photoshoot went well and afterwards we conducted the interview in her car. The interview took about 15 minutes and I got more than enough content for my feature article. Here are a few of the pictures I took.
